What happens when good girls give in to desire? That’s the question the Karen Walker aims to answer with her new Garden of Eden jewellery collection.
Inspired by the forbidden fruit that tore Adam and Eve apart, the release features pearls sat in barbed carapace with spiked edges – a design that is equal parts pretty and tough.
Including earrings, rings and a pendant with large white and small black pearls, it’s the perfect follow on from last year’s Runaway Girl with a Peal range. The pieces are available in sterling silver, yellow gold and rose gold.
“It was time to reclaim pearls for a new generation,” the designer said in a statement. “To restore their status as the iconic marker of special moments, and to do it in modern terms.”
