Join dessert expert Philippa Sibley at her first ever Dessert Disco at Syracuse.

Mood lighting and a fairytale-themed dessert menu will offer a sweet evening for your tastebuds.

The Snow White and Rose Red appetiser is a contradiction of textures and flavours, much like the personalities of the two sisters in the German fable. Strawberry soup with coconut sorbet, rhubarb and rose are accompanied by a glass of moscato or botanical iced tea.

The Hansel and Gretel is a pineapple tart tatin with Speculoos ice-cream. Crispy pastry and glazed pineapple is matched with 2013 Petit Guiraud sauternes or a juicy julep.

Sans furry friends, The Teddy Bear’s Picnic is a toasted lavender ice-cream sandwich with pear sorbet, sunken in honey and blueberry jam. Each bite is complemented by a Lavender Bliss Martini or Blueberry Lavender Lemonade.

Tickets are $105 per person and include a five-course set menu with paired alcoholic beverages, or $85 per person for non-alcoholic paired beverages.

From 6pm.
