A festive night filled with cocktails, chocolate and handmade local goods.
Northcote stylists and event coordinators Studio Local – run by locals Sarah Cooper and Stephanie Stamatis – will hold its first annual Night Market at its 1930s warehouse, Studio Local.
The event will showcase a collection of gourmet treats by local Melbourne makers as well as work from designers including Collingwood’s contemporary artist and jeweller Ada Hodgson and designer Anna Varendorff.
Broadsheet will be selling its new Broadsheet Melbourne Food and Broadsheet Sydney Food books – guides to more than 100 of the city’s best retailers and producers. Not just a shopping guide, the books are a vital resource for home cooks and entertainers, and a necessity for the silly season. Copies of the Broadsheet Cookbook will also be on sale, helping you make the most of your favourite new suppliers found in Broadsheet Food.
Get into the Christmas spirit with festive cocktails supplied by The Everleigh Melbourne. Browse through Christmas goodies from Baker D. Chirico, Fig and Salt and Mörk Chocolate.
Hattie Malloy will adorn the industrial space with plants and her Ikebana-inspired flower arrangements. Sophie Harle and Ella Bendrups are selling ceramics, including vases, cups and saucers, and local artist Astrid Muller will showcase her colourful drawings and prints.
Sydney’s Supply Paper Co. will be there too, selling their beautifully designed stationery, otherwise only available online.
