Trawl through the racks for some vintage gems.
Aoyama Archive will pop up in Collingwood to feature some of Japan’s most recognised fashion houses including Issey Miyake, Undercover and Yohji Yamamoto.

Among the racks you might find a piece from Comme des Garçons’s fall/winter 1989 collection or Junya Watanabe’s spring/summer 2003. The collection will also include ‘90s vintage pieces by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Local artists Remen Blake Hambly and Nicholas McGinnity will collaborate for two art installations. Visual artist Thomas Russell will project visuals of runways and Japanese manga on old television monitors. There will also be music by local DJs Patrick Adams and Tim Heaney.

The event will be one of the last held at the Magic Johnston space before it’s demolished to make way for new apartments.

10am–7pm.
