Chicago brewing company Goose Island is migrating to Melbourne and taking over Welcome To Thornbury’s food truck park.
As part of its week-long series of events, the brewer will host a Chicago Street Fest featuring food trucks such as Mr Burger, The Art of Fried Chicken, Sparrow’s Philly Cheesesteaks and BlueBonnet Barbecue.
Meet the brewers before sampling Goose Island beers (on tap) such as the Midway India pale ale, the barrel-aged Halia; a rose-coloured pale ale called Lolita; and Matilda, a Belgian ale beer.
Special tastings start at 4pm. Food vendors from 5pm.
