You don’t have to be Polish to party.
The 13th annual Polish Festival returns to Federation Square this weekend for a one-day celebration of Polish food, culture and music.
Enjoy performances by folk dancers including Melbourne’s Polonez and Łowicz & Łowiczaki dance ensembles, and Poland’s highlander music group Kapela Tekla Klebetnica.
Sample a selection of Polish dishes including pierogi (dumplings), kielbasas (sausages), bigos (slow-cooked ham hocks and sauerkraut), doughnuts, cakes and piwo (beer).
You can also browse books, pottery and jewellery on the day.
